Some interesting "stuff" for sale at CS

I just saw some interesting stuff for sale at CS... like a single Blue jigged bone Damascus Delica (only 1) and a bunch of orange Dodo's.

Lots of singles, but the prices seem like full MSRP. Kind of looks like they were holding on to some knives and decided it's time to dump them at premium prices. I didn't see any bargains in that group and nothing was really worth chasing...I looked for anything S90V or similar.

*Some* of the knives, like the dodos, were at a smaller discount than his normal 44% (and I can't say that I blame him, rather than have them immediately scooped up by someone who wanted to turn them around and resell at their own profit) but others he had at his normal 44% off, but after they sold out he took them out of the inventory listing. The CF stretch and Hossam Forester were fairly priced. I'm sure they weren't being "held out" just to grab a higher price. I had paid more for my CF stretch new from another dealer than what he was pricing them at.

On the other hand he also has a couple that he sells at 50% off list when he has too many of them.

I think Jeff gives excellent service, and for the most part has better prices than other shops, but that is why he may be out of stock a little quicker too .

To sell a Dodo at $127 these days you would have to be silly. I do like the fact he found some Blue ZDP-189 Stretch's and put them up for $103. Whether or not he really "found" them he could have dumped those on ebay for about $140 I reckon. Some people just love blue.

Looks like Jeff found some more old stock. Unfortunately these he is selling at full list, but I don't blame him really. He has an orange millie, and a couple each of Aqua Salt PE and SE. A combo-edge stretch at 50% off! I picked up one of his brown S35VN PM2's, but I think he has more. He mentioned he is getting in some regular and black PM2's though he is still filling backorders on those, but it sounds like you can order and get on the waiting list if you need. one.

I would really have loved to pick up that Stretch - of course cash is an issue as it was when it was in production for most of its run.
