Any plans for a PPT sprint?

After having carried mine for a few months now, I love it. It's ousted all other larger knives from my edc.

It's probably not likely, but I'd like to see a sprint (or 2). Maybe some thinning of the liners.. Oh.. And M390..

    Any news/thoughts, folks?

Ppt is one of my top faves- the only reason i am not carrying it at the moment is cause after making some custom scales, I lost a screw . I would kill for a sprint - I almost ordered a custom one from Sacha thiel with Ti liners and elmax blade with corrugated CF handles , hehehe

It's not too common to see collaboration sprints. Perhaps if it sells like crazy or is brought back after beig discontinued though.

No guarantees of course. I could see them use XHP or S35v as a rolling change.

Yipes! I use one of these to avoid that same scenario.

What did you do for the scales?

The only thing I don't like about the knife is the little point on the lip of the clip that points slightly outward.. I keep meaning to grind it down.. Just haven't got around to it yet..

I was thinking the same thing. Never hurts to ask though, eh?
I'd bite on either one of those steels.. I like my brown P2 in s35.

I like it, razor! The thinner file 'dents' are awesome.

I like the weight, Snoo.. Don't get me wrong there.. But some may not. I just threw the liner thing out there as an example.
The different steels are what I'm really interested in.

Ha no worries...I'm just a fan of a good heft to a knife, and I get annoyed when they get all lightened up.

Well the steel is a for sure...and as a lefty, I could use a clip that reversed. Other than that...I like it a lot. Though I would be happy with a XL version with a longer edge.

Yeah, I'm good with the thick liners. Maybe some more skeletonization or something.

I'd be down with an XL PPT.. It would be the ultimate camp/outdoor folder.

Based on the maker's mark, I'd say it's a Sacha Thiel custom and, for those who don't already know, he's the T in PPT.

Looks like the Sacha Thiel work mentioned above. A quick search brings up quite a few good-looking knives.
