Paramilitary 2 Loud disengament
I have two Para2's. One is the regular s30v and the other is the brown s35vn sprint run. My s30v Para2 disengages very quietly when you click down the compression lock. You can barely hear it. My brown one is very loud. It is not hard to disengage, it is just loud. I was wondering if that was normal. Also I have tried to rotate the stop pin and put led on the part where the stop pin is met with the compression lock. I was just wondering if it was normal and okay. I have used this knife a lot and the lock is at about 55%.

Does the lock stick at all? My S30V PM2 sticks and makes an audible *click*. I would say as long as there isn't any play, it should be good to go.

thats exactly what happens, the lock up is very tight compared to the s30v one I own.

I'd say that's par for the course. It should get better with time.

I wouldn't worry. I have many Para2s, both S30V and Sprints, and once they are deployed a few times and "broken in" you should have no problems. As long as the deployment is smooth and the lock up is tight, enjoy the best bang-for-the-buck in the knife world!

Putting some Sharpie ink on the contact area of the blade ramp sometimes helps. I know it helps with a sticky lock.
