Jeez. I like the donation part, but where's the leftover 75 bucks going. BTW, I guarantee that they aren't made from true MIL-C-5040 Type III type cordage which is much nicer than the typical run of the mill mil spec cord. A 100' hank of real cord is maybe <$10.

Ya, you can get a 1000ft spool of Mil spec for around ~60 bucks. That's around 70+ bracelets. I know there is labor involved n making them but come on.

No longer than it would take my 9 year old son to tie one up lol. They're pretty simple to make. I think it might take a half hour or so if you're taking your time and being real particular about it.

I found the company who makes them. http://www.fromsoldiertosoldier.org/

Ok good to know . Minus materials if someone of mediocre skill can pump then out at effective $60 per hour it seems excessive. If it took 3 hrs IMHO the price would be reasonable whether or not others could do it themselves.

It just pissed me off because i feel like it's praying on unsuspecting buyers. People will be drawn in by the $20 donation, which is great and all, but on the other end i think the price is insane even if you consider the price of the buttons and the price of manufacturing. I can't imagine how cheap paracord is "at cost" which i'm sure the maker is getting, and those buttons can't cost very much either considering the gold ones are just plated. I even tried to tell myself that the price of silver has gone up a lot, but it's still only ~$15 an ounce or so. I think something like $30-40 price with the same $20 donation would be more reasonable. I might even buy one for that price but for $100 i'll just donate $20 cash on my own and skip making someone else rich.
