I don't think he's found a Spydie yet that he didn't like. I'm listening to his review of the translucent blue Manix 2. "Sick!" Freakin' awesome!!!" I think his eyes are rolling back in his head. "Wicked penetrator" That's what she said!

Nutnfancy is enthusiastic, and has an excellent delivery. Compare him to the miriad of other youtube reviewers, whose reviews consist mostly of "uh . . . " and silence and poor audio. I understand how his self-importance wears on people, but I appreciate his delivery and content. Hello Richard, I know you are reading this.

I like the "second kind of cool" line.

I also like his template for his reviews in covering the same topics for each knife.

I like his interviews with the manufacturer reps at the various shows.

Unfortunately I find his as well as many other video sources for review to be too long in duration and too unrehearsed.

I enjoy his reviews. The man loves what he's doing and this shows. I appreciate the quality of his videos and his detailed reviews and I like that he actually tries the gear before talking about it.
There may be points where I disagree with what he's saying, but this is natural and doesn't diminish his merits at all. After all, we are all subjective by nature.
In conclusion, I am glad we have Nutnfancy among us, I think he does a great job, he is very enthusiastic and passionate about his work and I do hope he'll continue.

His reviews--even though long-winded (sometimes), militarized (overmuch), and prone to verbal tics (dude!)--have a structural consistency that affords fair comparison of similar products.

I appreciate his enthusiasm and the fact that he reviews a ton of stuff. Often a long time after they are released, and occasionally with old/outdated info...but still, his videos do have their uses.

I can't agree more. Very well put Dialex.

From what I've experienced Nut's reviews are useful if you take them in context and filter out whatever is annoying to you personally. His passion is appreciated

i still enjoy watching some of nutns reviews -especially ones outdoors in the mountains/woods - i used to watch a lot more when i was new to knives.
i came to nuntns channel from mrDagon007s channel watching the french laguiole knives - he had a review about tactical knives - thats where i got to nutns channel - first it was the tactical knives i was interested in (got a ZT200) , then the value knives - which got me to get my first spyderco - the resilience. so all in all - thanx to nutnfancy im hooked in here and enjoying it.

Yea I saw someone was banned. This thread must be a troll trap.

Saying bad things is easy (and fun)! The challenge is finding good in people who may annoy the living heck out of you.

To some it may be sugar-coated Pollyanna talk. I think optimism is a skill worth working on. The average life expectancy is around 76 which means if you abhor the journey it's going to be a long road.

    So true

It's all how an individual looks at things in the world and how messages (ie. knife reviews) are percieved.

If an individual looks for the positive and uplifting in any message they'll see it, if an individual looks for the negative in the same message, they'll see that. This choice is made by every individual soul.

I prefer to look for the positive with a judicious mix of pragmatism influencing the opinion Don't sweat the small stuff
