    Odd I'd forget....

I walked out of the house today with no Spydie in my right front pocket. I just totally spaced it. I have not been without a Spydie at least 10-12 years. I feel so...... odd.

Anyways, just thought I'd post this. I feel like I left one of my children at the zoo or something. Thanks for listening.

This made me laugh out loud...I know exactly how you feel.

I left the house without my wedding ring once and it drove me bananas all day until I got home and was able to put it back on. I'm always fascinated by how the body and mind grow accustomed to the sense/feel of material objects.

I remembered my 2 FB (non-Spydie), but the pocket in question has been, and always will be reserved for a Spydie.

So true! Tempted to leave one at the office but the OCD might kick in having one estranged from the herd.

LOL! This happened to me a time or two, though I had access to another non-Spydie knife I had in my car, it's still not the same as having that Spydie on you.

I went back home from work a couple of times when I realized the Spydie was missing from the pocket.

I would have had to go back home. I always do a tap tap whenI am walking to the truck in teh morning.
Truck keys, Office keys, Glock, spare mag, Spyderco, flashlight, ........ etc. and then I end up leaving
    the phone at home.
I always have a spare Spyderie or two in the truck though.

Oh, how I HATE IT when that happens... and it's happened to me. Been there, done that... too damn many times!

I usually, at the VERY LEAST, have a Spyderco Delica4 PE or a Spyderco Caly3 PE on me, but have foolishly forgotten even those at times. Fortunately, I usually have my Leatherman Super Tool 200 in its sheath and on my belt, or my Imperial Boy Scouts pocket knife in my pocket, so that I at least have something with a sharp edge on me.

You know what's worse? Realizing at about 9:00 that you don't have it. Then you wonder, "did I forget it or have I lost it between home and work?"

I regret to say that I've done it a time or two myself. I generally notice the absence of my Spydie after I start to feel this naked feeling...

I feel the absence when flying, feel naked without a spydie in my pocket. I associate it with what an amputee goes through with phantom pain.
