    The orange military was originally released as a sprint run. I will drop it as I don't want to open old wounds.
    We would rather be the knife in your pocket, because is "works" better, than the knife in your showcase, because it "looks" better.

    Did they have different Model #s?

    yeah I could see that being a wound for someone then. I just liked the orange for that one.
    ...I have no knives I keep in a safe but there are one or two that don't leave the house...

    I'd consider the fluted ti Military as Limited Production. Truth is, I'm inclined to think the smooth ti version, as well as most of the popular non-Sprint and non-Exclusive models produced in Golden are LP as well. Not intentionally so, but I don't think Spyderco has the production capacity to churn out enough of them to keep up with the demand.

    That is true. Another one, which comes to my mind was CF Balance, which was announced 400 pieces run couple years ago, but considering how many of the still floating around, most likely there were many more than 400. Still I am glad that I got mine.

    These two answers satisfy my question best I think. The way you guys are saying it, it all adds up. Or doesn't, depending on demand.
