We would rather be the knife in your pocket, because is "works" better, than the knife in your showcase, because it "looks" better.

yeah I could see that being a wound for someone then. I just liked the orange for that one.

I'd consider the fluted ti Military as Limited Production. Truth is, I'm inclined to think the smooth ti version, as well as most of the popular non-Sprint and non-Exclusive models produced in Golden are LP as well. Not intentionally so, but I don't think Spyderco has the production capacity to churn out enough of them to keep up with the demand.

That is true. Another one, which comes to my mind was CF Balance, which was announced 400 pieces run couple years ago, but considering how many of the still floating around, most likely there were many more than 400. Part of the problem we may be having is that "limited run" is not in the Spyderco lexicon.There are sprints, dealer/distributor exclusives, limited production...and then to sort of echo Paul, there's just plain production limitations, which seems to happen a lot these days.
These two answers satisfy my question best I think. The way you guys are saying it, it all adds up. Or doesn't, depending on demand.
