    EDC keyring

Was looking through June's issue of Popular Mechanics (congrats on the Spyderco Tenacious being featured) and saw that a company called Kaufman Mercantile had an EDC kit consisting of a flat blade, a phillips head, 2 inch prybar, pair of tweezers and a waterproof/windproof lighter. Might have to pick one of these up! Anyone heard of them or carry one?

Interesting but i'm really particular about keeping my keys from being cluttered up. I think i'd just assume carry a multi tool.

Agreed, the more I think about it the more I'm against having a big wad of tools in my pocket (since my Leatherman Squirt can perform most of those functions). However, I'm definitely interested in finding a keyring prybar. I've seen a few in the EDC thread that I really like.

i almost forgot, if you are going to order from comm..get this

    http://countycomm.com/ring.html

they are great for a keychain instead of the big round key chain, i use a lil bit of blue loctite so it doesnt come unscrewed. you can buy a few of the big ones to keep box wrenches together or other tools.

After looking at their website, I'm guessing they're just resellers. Looks like they buy things marketed towards our crowd, then put a spin on it to sell to the more 'hip' crowd. God forbid THEY'D ever shop at CountyComm

I just discovered countycomm today on a different thread and I already know I will be placing a sizable order with them. They have a lot of neat items I am looking forward to trying out, the prybar and tweezers are two of them.

Two things to consider with County Comm:

    1. Shipping is a base of like $7 I think so it's good to buy a decent bag of toys.

    2. When that bag arrives you will giddily open it shortly following confusion to if you were drinking when the order was placed jk

Alright, Blerv. Spill it. Where are you hiding? You're obviously talking about me. I'm conducting a thorough search of the house.. You can't hide forever.
