    edgepro chosera

Should I get this? Also, can I sharpen my 14" cimiter on it? I saw some microscopic images of what the 10k stones do, so if I get one I definetly want to get the choseras. Thanks in advance

YES and you can sharpen pretty much any length of blade but the longer it is, the harder it is to sharpen. If you want an EP and have the funds for the choseras I would recommend this http://www.chefknivestogo.com/edge-pro-sharpener.html it is what I got and i am getting easily hair whittling, mirror polished edges. even if you dont get the choseras you will still get great edges from what I have seen and heard from many EP users

I've never used the chosera stones but I think the Edge Pro is one of the best sharpeners there is. The primary benefit of any sharpening system is to be able to set it to any angle you want. That gives two benefits. You can put any angle you want on your knives or anyone's knives. And, you can match the angle to any knife your friend wants you to sharpen. Most people don't consider edge angle or anything like that. As long as it cuts they are happy. Matching the existing angle allows you to get it sharp quickly with no reprofiling. Maa14 says the chosera stones are great as does anyone who I have heard voice their opinion. I think you would be VERY happy with that setup.

Knives I love: Sage 4, Chaparral (CF), Bradley Folder, Dragonfly2, Manbug(s). These guys are the result of deciding to get one good knife.

    MY CURRENT EDC
    TOP: Bradley Folder
    or (depending on picture)
TOP: Sage4: Now with black G-10 scales, stonewashed blade and bolsters
    MIDDLE: Chaparral (CF)
BOTTOM: Manbug (G-10): Now has black G-10 scales, ZDP-189 blade ground to a Jester-like spine, stonewashed blade and bolsters
Fenix LD01 (single AAA flashlight) clips to Manbug FOB

I completely agree...also if you get the edge pro make sure to buy this $4 piece http://www.chefknivestogo.com/5drstcowhexk.html
It will save you much time and hassle after the stones start to wear and become different thicknesses
