Play the man not the ball. Don’t answer any of his points, but just call his entire argument ‘moronic’ without giving a shred of evidence why. If you repeatedly describe your opponent and his arguments in language that implies stupidity or simplicity, the others in the room will assume you know more and will begin to agree with you.
I stopped following the thread awhile back and don't know context of this post.. but it was pretty much hilarious.. and surprisingly true.

I will add an observation, the more people there are buying up multiple knives constantly on each sprint, the larger the sprints will become, for example I have some sprints from a few years ago (blue Manix 2, M4 Military) that were batches of 400 or 500, however the last batches of sprints (CF Military, Brown PM2, Orange PM2, Blue PM2, etc) have all been batches of 800. Dealers will see the extra demand and how fast sprints sell out and order more, I bet both CS and KW wouldn't have minded adding another 200 to the most recent PM2 sprints if they had known how fast they would sell out and this will influence how many they order in future sprints. It wouldn't make sense to only order 800 knives if you know you can consistently sell out of that many in a week. I might not bump up the run if this happened once or twice, but more than that I probably would add 200 more and see how that did (still sells out in week an half 2 or 3 times) bump it up again.

I'm such a low life scum. You see, I had 2 orange paramilitaries that I bought. You know, the ones where everyone had ample notice about them being an upcoming sprint, and then ample time to purchase once they went on sale..... What did I do just yesterday though? I sold one....for a profit. You see....I noticed that the M390 military was available again that I chose not to order when it was originally availale, but I had no cash for it. So, sell an orange para for a little profit and almost cover the cost of an m390 military for what I got for it. Yep, I am scum. A proud low life who now owns a m390 military

    What Evil D said.

All of my Spyderco knives are 'users' and I have only ever sold 3 because they were duplicates. I find the act of 'flipping' sprint run knives to be reprehensible and the perpetrators to be unethical and self-serving sods. But that is just my opinion.

The good news is they rarely have a cognizant argument

    This is funny!

A while ago I was browsing the Ebay and caught an auction for one of these M390 Military's with the date code BL and it ended selling for $232.50 with free shipping.

If someone tried to make money off it, it didnt work because by time the Ebay fees, Paypal fees and shipping comes out of the $232.50, I would say he lost money didnt he! I think they were sold at $220 plus shipping!

That's a good flip job there, huh?

Hey, blame the band. Stop going to their concerts and steal their music. Screw them over if you don't like what they do. In the case of Spyderco, stop buying knives if you don't like it. You really don't need any more. They make the rules of the game. Don't blame the guy with the ability to play the game better than you. Unless you're a complete loser, that is.

Something must be wrong with being a flipper if guys get butthurt when they think their integrity is being questioned if they are called flippers.

Don't worry, there's no present risk of that, none at all. And I say that as a friend, just think what the others would be saying.

I'm sure you are well aware of butt hurt but what exactly would you know of integrity? You haven't displayed any here.

As a matter of fact you made quite the "ass" out of yourself as far as threads go. Be proud. I'm sure most of us junior members really appreciate your antics.

It's ok if you can't put your thoughts into concise paragraphs and explain your stance. It's not ok to think you are clever or that others think that you are funny for your lack of vocabulary and communications skills.

Of changing minds or making sense?

Good to have you as a friend, and I thank you for that, but then I have lived most of my life not caring too much what people say about me.

No I don't. I'll be the judge on just how careful I am. I'm sorry you disagree but that is exactly how I feel.

The 2009 forum knife was a prime example. That knife was graciously created by Spyderco for us, the Spyderco knife lovers. Unfortunately some lowlifes bought a bunch and sold them at a higher price which made legitimate Spyderco lovers not able to purchase one at the price from the SFO. Theses people didn't add a service when they scooped up multiple forum knives. They artificially made the knives scarce and therefore more expensive. In my book they are a lowlife. I was extremely fortunate to get a forum knife from the SFO under extraordinary circumstances that I won't go into. Personally I have all the Sprints that I aimed to get with relative ease. There are some I would have liked to purchase but decided not to get and not because I missed out.
