Slightly disappointed with XHP Para 2

Just a quick question, when you guys do all of this fine tuning & adjusting, do you do it with the blade in the locked, open position or do you do it with the blade closed? Thanks!

closed, wouldn't want to slip and cut yourself. Not that you're putting any pressure on the torx screws it just seems safer that way.

For the record, it is much better now that I've been tweaking it. It still won't drop freely, but is smooth and closes with a little flick of the wrist. A little more break in time and it should be all good.

Mine arrived perfect today. Slightly firm on the action, but I always prefer this to minimize any possible blade play.
