I can't agree more about the Sage4. I liked the feel of the Sage1 so I knew the ergonomics were great and all the other aspects have proven to be top notch as well. It opens and locks as solid as the GB and Manix2 which is saying a lot IMO. The blade still just falls when I release the lock even though it is locked solid enough that you don't expect it to pivot with such freedom. This didn't happen until I had it for a couple of weeks. I put a drop or two of Quick Release oil about every couple of days and open/closed it many many times before the movement became as free as it is now. This breaking in is normal though. Probably used more oil than necessary but I do that will all new knives (or most things that use oil).
I got mine about a month ago now and I've carried it every day since. In fact it was in my pocket before it was in my house. I took it out of the mail box and opened it immediately.
AFAIK it's as perfect an EDC knife that there is for my needs. I don't need to worry about scaring anyone where I live which is nice.
