Talk to your wives, girlfriends, daughters

I came home tonight and my daughter was showing me a bracelet she had made of a thin green cord. Very neat. I asked her if she could weave something like that for a knife. In just a few minutes I had a new lanyard on my Para 2.

I showed my wife and she said "oh I can do those kinds of things" ??????????? duh, where have I been??? Anyway in just a few minutes I had 3 new lanyards to put on knives. There is much hidden talent out there. You may be surprised what your wife, girlfriend, or children can do. Summer camps teach kids all kinds of things I was shocked how quickly I had 3 new lanyards. Gonna have to order more colors of paracord as I only had black, orange, and OD. Hope all are having a Good Friday. For those that know, have a Blessed Easter. Thanks to all those at Spyderco.

That's a neat idea about the custom-made lanyards, Tdog. I hadn't thought of that either. (Although I reckon that my sisters would certainly charge me a nominal sum for their time + labor, cost of materials, overhead costs, and any other miscellaneous costs. JK). I'll have to have a talk with my wife about this. She's pretty creative too.

A blessed Easter to you and your family also.

    Take care,

    Michael

Really cool . Nice to have some talented ladies in your life.

Mine is a digital artist who has evaded my begging to use her powers for silly things.

    Happy Easter!

Now I have the problem of who to ask. My wife, my girlfriend, or my daughter.

Don't ask your wife. It will piss off your girlfriend. Who needs that???

I have a mormon gf. They do all that kind of stuff. Now I just need to get a bunch of paracord. Maybe I can start a business selling lanyards and stuff.
