Hey, Jay From Minnesota, I got a dumb question for you. Does/did Spyerco offer that endura in zdp89 with a serrated blade, or is that a mod you had done? If a mod, was it really difficult to do bec. of the hardness of the zdp89?

Its great to see a knife shine with the personality of the owner, it inspires me to use my knives and not pamper them. Keep em coming.

Personally I'd go with a jumpmaster but whatever u choose make sure it is a salt and bright in case u drop it. I'd love for my jumpmaster to have orange handles. I picked the Tasman because even when closed the blade sticks out a lot from the scales. Try to open a knife with fire gloves on is a pita. Go with serrTed too. You can keep a plain edge one in your pants pocket and the other one on the coat. When u decide send them to me and I'll throw some window punches on them for u.

Wear just adds character. Anybody can carry a brand new out of the box knife in their pocket, but once you use it and give it some scratches and make it your own, then you have something unique. That's how you really build a bond with a knife. Most of the time they can be cleaned up good as new anyway.

Exactly. Ill never forget the bond i made with my first native, which was the only knife i had for a solid year and a bit. I couldnt switch knives so we had to work through everything together, and because of that commitment i still hold the native to be my favorite knife. Commitment is lacking when we can switch up whenever we get bored with a blade.
