Having a loaner is always good for that very reason. I feel bad when I won't let someone use a knife I don't want to risk damage to because they just don't get it. They would understand if it was a car, but a pocket knife? Sometimes I get look from them that they think that I think they are dirty or something. So I let them use a loaner. Then they see me use a GB or something and ask about it. I tell them they are low class filthy people who don't deserve to even look at a Spyderco knife. I don't know why I get into so many fights.
