    Puukko's are out-Ordered!

    Just ordered my puukko from one of our favorite shops. You know , the guy with the orange pm-2's. I think the puukko will look real nice in person with the iron wood handle. Can't wait

    The initial prototype photo's showed a round dimple in the wood handle to mirror the spyderco hole in the blade. I am sad that the production model dropped this feature. I thought it was cool.

    I would be very interested to hear the reasoning behind the use of S30V on this knife. It seems a carbon steel would work very well, and 3V would have been my first choice.
    Maybe there is something I'm missing here....
    Maybe sal will give us some insight into this decision.... please!
