Lum tanto is gonna be on the top of my list. Close second will be the dama caly 3. Szabo will have to wait if push comes to shove. Ive wanted the Szabo for awhile but i won't pass on the Lum fixed blade especially with a leather sheath

Lum Tanto & in VG10 too! I have a Buck 112 in Red Paperstone & it's a pretty nice handle material. Is the new Lum Tanto going to be a limited run?

I am not holding my breath for fixed Lum to be much less expensive than street price on original. Just take a look on latest sprints like folding tanto and Red Persian. But I hope that this sprint will bring street price on original down a bit. At least this happened with both Lums and Persian.

I would be really happy to see Fluted Ti Native without clip at all. IMHO the clip just blocking good -looking scales. The same applicable to Damascus Caly3

My top choices DIW Native5, C83 Persian and Caly3.5/Caly3

After seeing pics of the new Chaparal Ti, I can't wait to see Mr Blonde's amazing photos of it.

Also, the new fricion folder looks great too.

It was there but according to my info it's a concept model so no pics allowed.

I remain, according to my info the Li'l Matriarch and the Rescue 3 are concept models, so no pics allowed. If the Spydercrew states otherwise I'm happy to post them though.

The flipper was still the original proto from Brad Southard, same as last year.
It still filipped sweet though That knife is soooo nice.
And Sal confirmed that they're going to make it.

Spyderco 2012 Prototype – Chaparral Titan Stealth

The Chaparral Titan Stealth was apparently the first design for the Chaparral series. Unfortunately, only now the maker can pull it off. The tips and dips of the facets in the titan handle are only ten thousands of an inch high or deep, depending on your point of view. Eric explained that the stop pin actually pushes into the blade, resulting in a tight lock-up.

It’s a stunning piece. I didn’t care much for the Chaparral line, but this will be part of my collection and EDC. The little knife feels great in the hand and the thin blade should be an excellent cutter. I also got the impression the jimping on the blade was cut a bit sharper than my other Taichung made knives, which is a good thing in my book.
