What do you all do on the weekends or in your spare time? I like to do little projects like making knife handles and tying paracord projects. Let's see some of your weekend hobbies or projects. I know that there are tons of talented folks here that are into some really interesting things. (It doesn't have to be knife related and I'm not sure if there is already a thread for this?)

I will start. A guy I work with, who happens to be another Spyderco guy, had an old 10" Chicago Cutlery Chef's Knife that had broke off where the blade met the handle. He gave it to me and said "here, do something with this". This is what it looked like originally, pre-break (not my picture)

This is what I came up with...


The handle is made out of African Padauk wood and is approx 5" and the blade is about 6" now. I still need to work on the blade a bit, like I said it was in rough shape.
