My dress knife is my Gayle Bradley, but that is a tad large for some people.

I have heard a lot of people here are fans of the Dragonly G-10. I would also Check out the Sage 1 as well. There is something about Carbon Fiber dress knives

As for EDC, you can't go wrong with a Delica! Spyderco classic! I own a Sage 3 and use it as my smaller EDC some times. I also always carry my Dragonfly 2 vg10....

    Welcome to the Spydie community,

I have Stainless Steel versions of both the Delica and the D'fly, and though the D'fly is a great knife the Delica is my preferred. It's got great grip and feel in the hand with a well sized blade.

Additionally ur on exactly the right track with the ZDP option. For a long time I was only EDCing my knives that happened to have VG10 (al la my Delica among others) and I found myself touching up the edge every week or sooner. But now that I've started to exclusively carry a knife with zdp, I've gone I think a month and a half with putting it to the stone...and it's still managing to take hair off my arm.

Welcome to the asylum! I own both but carry the DF much more. I also carry a larger knife but rotate the larger knives more. It really boils down to what you need exactly. The 2 listed are in 2 very different categories.

The sage, native 5, chapparal would be my choices for the delica sized knives. Maybe even a frn Stretch, but thats just me.

For small knife, definitely the DF or even the Cat.

I carry a Dragonfly 2 in ZDP frequently. It rides loose in my RFP at the office. It fits me well, and cuts like a much larger blade.

The Delica in ZDP is no joke either, though. However, the Dragonfly sees more pocket time due to it's size.

Two great knives. You might also consider a Centofante3. It's one of the most affordable dress knives out there.

Both good choices. You might also look at one of the new G-10 Manbugs which are due out soon. Another good choice is the Michael Walker Carbon Fiber sprint run from last year. It is getting harder, but not impossible, to find. It is very light weight, has ZDP-189 steel and carbon fiber scales. A little on the expensive side, but a very very very classy dress knife.

I think they are excellent choices. I use all of my ZDP knifes with the Ladybug in the watch pocket. Of course the color choice is limited but I happen to like the BRG.
    Good luck!

Endura would be a kitchen dress knife. Better D'fly for me for the purpose.
