Updates/Upgrades - Changes on the way!

This is just a quick heads-up for things to come. In mid to late January we will be performing updates and upgrades across the Spyderco site and the forum. Some you will notice and some you won't. We are taking measures to limit any actual downtime, but there may be unforeseen hiccups along the way. If you happen to experience an issue please bear with us.

Kristi, if you guys have any concerns about anything not going right, i'd be happy to make myself available if it served a purpose.Done a lot of server work including disaster recovery and realtime mission critical production troubleshooting. I'm sure you have it covered but I figured I'd offer -sometimes the unexpected happens and it's good to have resources available (I have no idea what kind of support structure ya'll have but sometimes it's nice to have someone to bounce ideas off of).

Sounds like good news to me. There are some nice features on other forums that will be nice on this one. Also, it would be nice to see a nicer website.

Just in case you want instances of wierd behavior, I have one.

I wanted to include multiple posts in one reply. I clicked on the button to select each post. Normally I would click that button for each post I wanted included and when I clicked on the "quote" button on the last one I would go to the window to type my reply.

What just happened is I clicked on the button to include a post and went to the place to start typing. I hit the back button, found the next post I wanted to include and went directly to the same place where I'd start typing my reply. Both posts I wanted included were there. Hit the back button, found the 3rd and last post and clicked the "quote" button. Then I was looking at all 3 posts I wanted included. I started typing and posted my reply and everything worked.

I hope you understood what happened.
