    Well nothing really... As long as it don't become an obsession and you still concentrate on the important things in life (work, family, friends, health, etc.).

    Life is more enjoyable with a good blade close by. Yep, family and duties come first.

    A lot of my tv time is spent stropping. I make sure the angle is a little lower than the angle on the edge so I don't take the chance of rounding the edge. It's amazing the effect that will have on the appearance of the bevel. I have a few knives that definately have a mirror polish on the bevel as a result of the additional stropping. My wife, not really knowing what I'm doing or why, asked me the other day "don't you get bored doing that?" I said "sometimes". I lied.
