Any idea when the knife will be available to resellers like Knife Center and Cuttlery Shoppe? Grateful if someone at Spyderco can let us know.

Placed an order for a Yo2 with Jeff at Cuttlery Shoppe. Must say that the wait is pure torture.

I believe this is the correct forum but dapagco forgot to make it a sticky thread. Kristi said they were going to keep new releases stickied for a month or two so the brand new releases can be right there to see instead of new posts moving the new releases down. This would keep new knives at the beginning of the thread and easy to find for those who don't check for new releases several times a day. We know you guys are out there.

Actually Jack he didn't forget. This thread is from last November, before we were making these sticky threads.
There is nothing more important than this one day.

Will this new batch be ample enough to meet demand this time or will we have to play the pre-order game again?

I don't know about the next batch, but I really feel for the people who never received a knife from the first one.
I have been on the waiting list at CS since January; that's nothing compared to the die-hards who have been waiting since November. You can say many things about Spyderco fans: having the patience of a saint is one of them.
