    Crappy photo, but my Becker BK14 done on my new KME sharpening system-----34 deg inclusive back bevel and 44 deg inclusive micro bevel. Finished with an ultra fine black Arkansas stone and stropblock with green compound:

    For the $, I think it's worth it for sure. I got into Becker fixed blades which are very hard to sharpen on the sharpmaker (especially the BK2---it's a tank). The kme makes it much easier to sharpen larger knives and with the angle setting it takes the guess work out of it. I would change the kme and make it capable of doing 30 deg inclusive or even lower. The lowest angle it is set for is 34 inclusive and it maxes out at 60 inclusive.

    Ron--- the owner and designer at kme is awesome and will speak with anyone personally when they call with questions. It comes with a lifetime warranty as well (not the stones of course, but the system).....

    That being said--- i still have my sharpmaker and use it on my spydies and touch ups on my henckels kitchen knives.

    11-12 dps with 4000 grit micro at 15 ish, done with only a few passes, truly tiny micro

    Yep, a micro bevel is exactly that - it should really not be readily visible to the naked eye without close scrutiny.
