    I can only dream of edges like those prime77. Especially since you do it freehand(which I suck at).

    i used 120 grit and 240 grit dry sandpaper wrapped around the sharp maker rods, and finished using the regular sharp maker rods, and stropped on a strop man.

    this is my best mirror polish edge that is actually hair shaving sharp...ive sharpened my para2 on the sharp maker and got it way sharper than this, its just not a mirror polish.
    Caden's 's-g10 dragonfly, digicamo para2,bug,honeybee,sharpmaker.

    If your eye is in when freehand sharpening it gets done well...other days not so good but thats just part of the fun. Note to self: Dont sharpen when I had a 15 hour work day!

    ok, heres my try. new angle with lansky, then finished manually with up to 12000 grid micromesh.

    It was polished til I cut up a bunch of fruit with it. Patina pretty quit
