    Stretch super blue

Pretty close to a mirror bevel finished with 8k Shapton glass stone

Same edge slicing a page from the A.G. Russell catalog

My EDC for a while. Stretch with carbon fiber handle, Chaparral 2, Dragonfly 2 with kirinite MOP handle, Manbug with bolster/red bone handle. Super blue/420J1 blades on all three (except Chaparral).

Kind of hard to follow up a madrookie post but here's my unsteady hand. The para is an ugly 1k glass finish nothing fancy.

MR's edges are hard to follow, no doubt. However, your edge looks real good too. Nice job.

    That looks good for ZDP.

Rookie, I see you're reading about food.

Agreed - absolutely grand edges - well done there!

I find a 1k edge just slightly too "smooth", but yes it is screaming sharp.

Thanks for the replies guys, the blue para is dedicated to fishing so I keep it between toothy and polished. Caly is a slicer with grit jumping lapped fine side of a double stuff and then .25 micron on balsa. It cuts cheese/bread/mail/string/other mundane things.

Not polished and praiseworthy, but scary and toothy and it makes me smile when I get to cutting with it! (A worn 220 grit)
