That's a great album. It took me a while to warm up to it way back when it came out, because i liked Chaos AD so much. My 3yo daughter loves the shirt...hand-me-down from her big brother

Can't say that I've ever been into Meshuggah (though I'm familar with Tomas Hakke) but I happened upon this vid the other night and couldn't stop watching.

I listen to all kinds of stuff. I just typically don't like "country".

Here's what I've been listening to recently.

Clutch (going to their concert at House of Blues in 8 days)
    Jay-Z
    Deadmau5
    Eagles
    Soul Coughing
    Madonna
    Outkast
    Digital Underground
    De La Soul
    Foo Fighters
    Van Halen
    Dr. Dre
    Daft Punk
    Kaskade
    Social Distortion
    Staind

I spend a lot of time researching and listening to bands trying to find something new. A while back i ran across this band from '07 called My Bitter End. Can't believe i never heard this album. Apparently they broke up for a long time but are back in the studio making an EP right now. I can't really put my finger on it but this album is blowing me away..just something very different about it. It's brutally heavy but really melodic at the same time, but not in a cheesy trying too hard to be melodic kind of way.

Two ends of the musical spectrum lately. First the heavy side, with Thy Art Is Murder...BRUTAL album, easily one of the best heavy albums i've heard in several years.
