    First light-Fenix E15

So, I am far from a flashaholic, but stepped out and bought a Fenix E15. It arrived today and as I sadi I cannot give all the techie stuff on it. But it seems great for a small EDC light. The operation is simple and seems to be all I need. I wear a suit and it slips easily in any pocket without looking "tacti-cool".

Congrats on the new light! I've found flashlights to be as addictive as knives. Do you adjust the brightness by rotating the head tighter or looser?

I just got that one for my wife. It's nice, and quite bright.

I've got one too, just for my keychain. Great little light, it's only as long as a closed ladybug...and has 140 lumens on high.

i have a fenix e21, ld20, a zebra h51, and a nightcore 11.2.both fenix are 2 aa and the zebra and nightcore are single aa. the nightcore d11 has a variable intensity which is pretty slick. the zebra has the beam come out the side and comes with a head band, thats the light i use when running the snowblower.i also like a light to have a momentary on feature which works great for walking in the dark while hunting. the old maglites of years ago kind of fell by the wayside compared to whats on the market today for flashlights.

It's a "twisty": medium-low-high. Great to just slip in pocket.

I recently upgraded to "nice" quality flashlights with a Fenix LD10, then a couple of weeks later a Fenix LD01. Both are great little lights. I am amazed at how much light a single AAA battery flashlight will put out. I may get a bigger light soon. It will probably be a Fenix LD40.

I can see how someone could get hooked on flashlights like knives but I don't see myself being one of them. I'll have 2 or 3 nice lights and be happy (I think).
