    What is this knot called?

    Does anyone know what this knot is called and better yet how to actually tie it??

    it's called the snake knot! here is a video on how to tie one.start tying it with just a single strand vs using two different colors.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jLxPyp9o7dU also you can tie it with or without the center strands of the paracord removed.leather is a bit trickier as it does not let the knot slide together and form very well. makes a nice key fob though.

    snake knot

    i actually tie this knot long enough so it hangs out of my pocket so you can grab the cord to pull the knife out. the other knot i like to use is the cobra knot.
