    Those fake UKPKs scare me. They look really real unless you know what to look for.

    Think what you like, but I can show you plenty of legitimate Spyderco knives where there's a transition like that between the grind and the tang. I also would not be terribly surprised if at least a few of the fakes did not have it. It's a random imperfection and thus not an accurate indicator of anything. OTOH, the absence of clip mounting cutouts on the left scale of an alleged black G-10 UKPK is a 100% reliable indicator of a fake, since all real UKPKs have those cutouts on both sides.

    Well it says "replica" so I'd say so. It doesn't appear to have a compression lock™.

    I did a quick eBay check, and found a Para 2 for $167, so why buy a replica? Of course the $99 shipping to New Zealand was a bit eye watering. Since most people I buy from charge $8-$12 that's a trifle rich.
