got my edge pro today and took my delica through the 220, 600, 1000, 2000 and 3000 grit tapes..... the other 2 knives didnt fair this well but i went out on a limb and said wth and used my delica. not too shabby




the area just under the spydie hole on the blade is still a bit rough as you can see... for some reason i had trouble hitting that spot

yeah one wasnt enough.... i just had to test my abilities on my manix 2 para 2 and mili ti s30v(man was i brave)
not as good as the delica but SCREAMING sharp

gone through vg10, s30v twice and 154cm :-) bring on the super steels!!! im officially addicted to sharpening.

i rushed them a bit and i ran out of the painters tape so i messed up the finish on the s30v ti mili but who cares..... its sharpened! its now officially a user!!! that ****er bit me too right after i finished i wiped it with a clean cloth and it BARELY touched me between my thumb and index finger and just opened me up :-( ahhhh spider love bites!!

Great to hear you are getting such good results so quickly after getting the ep. My 30th birthday is coming up on June 9th and I think I'm going to be ordering an ep apex as a birthday gift to myself.

I dove headfirst into my EP yesterday on a FFG Delica. Let's just say I learned a few things from my first go around. Scratched the hell out of the blade, but the edge is ridiculously sharp. I also had a hard time hitting right near the ricasso.

Congrats on your EP, painter's tape is the anti-scratched secret . . . . IMHO try first your EP on some junk folders and then sharpen or reprofile SPIDIES . . . . Here is a link http://imgur.com/a/ODFWr it is my resent EP reprofiling, Stag Arms is been reprofiled to 17deg up to 600grit and 154CM to 15deg up to 1000grit, notice the lines of the Stag Arms MANIX2 reprofiled edge and the matt finished edge, also the polished edge of the MANIX2 154CM . . . . The area near the ricasso at first is all right not to polish it because of the factory grinding, a few times on EP will do the job . . . . Tell me how you like my fotos . . . .
