    Blade Centering Issues.

Just got my first higher-end spyderco in the form of the Military. I love the knife except the blade centering sucks!! Is there anyway to fix this problem or send it to get fixed?

You can try this. I centered the blades of both my millies with this method.

    1. Fold a piece of paper and wedge it in the closed folder between the side of the blade and the scale that you want it to move away from.

    2. Loosen the pivot and scale screws. Do not take them out.

    3. Tighten the screws to the desired tightness while retaining the wedge.

I hope this works for you.

Thanks for all the effort to make the video. Blade centering hasn't been much of an issue for me, but I'm sure it'll come in handy. Enjoyed the rest of your channel too.

Thanks for the informative video. I've read about this technique before but seeing it on video is great.

I once had a G-10 FG Manix with an off center blade. I tried this method but it didn't make a difference. Having sold it to a buddy of mine, he attempted to correct it with no results either. Having taken the knife apart, he discovered there was a missing bronze washer on one side. The knife was new from a dealer in the factory box so not sure why it was missing. He ordered a few from SFO and now the blade is perfectly centered.

I'm not sure this technique works for the manix 2 because of the bushing construction of it's pivot. Even if there are no missing or misplaced washer issues.
