That's a nice look on the Chokwe. Will be even better in a while once it's built up a patina.

Here's a hammered brass scale and lockbar stabiliser I made for my Chokwe! Unfortunately, the holes did not really align very well. Oh well, I'll do better next time!

By the looks of it, you should log in more often! That is ruggedly gorgeous! Is it a thin slab attached to a scale already on there? Does it weigh a ton? Thanks for sharing.

Very nice. With that type of work it defenately has been too long.

Thanks! I'll definitely have to change that .

On that note here's another one of my recent projects; a copper backspacer for my Para 2!

I'm more of a pillar person, but after seeing that picture I would definitely take that backspacer instead of pillars for the para 2!

Okay, so this isn't much of a mod I admit. Just a subtle play on colors.

That copper back spacer is great. I'm seriously considering making a copper scale for my Southard.

Your right, the scales were originally from Cuscadi, but it's too thick and blocky, so I contoured them and acid washed everything.

Hey guys I have a little knife sharpening and mods business over here in Australia, did this for a customer yesterday.
Black out etch on the blade with a some with a bit of file work on the scales and a nice shiny bevel at about 10deg.
Yeah I know VG10 way too soft to hold that kind of edge but that what they wanted. After they run out of hair to shave on their arm
I convinced him to let me put a 20deg micro bevel on it. Anyway let me know what you think.

Looks good mate! Welcome to the forum

If anything, you could oil the G10 after you've filed it, it will bring back the colour and make it look new.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing. The etched blade looks great. What sharpening system (or tools) are you using?

Thank xceptnl, I have a sharpening business so I have a few different things but what gets the most work is my wetstones and and edge pro.
The edge pro is a great tool for ease, speed and consistency but sometimes freehand is best and more rewarding. This one was freehand.
