I can't for the life of me understand why these wouldn't sell like hot cakes on a sprint straight from Spyderco. They look great on your now truly "frankenmillie"

Might not fly due to cost and I think Luke is already pretty busy, happy as with his work though, really professional.

I could have every knife I own in that style micarta and never get bored with it. It looks even better after some wear.

    Smile Pingo mods

I think I had posted a couple of these a few months ago, but since then, I added another to the set, and have used the fire outta these.
I love the Pingo blade shape, and the steel is high on my own personal list. I have several other folders with the N690 steel.
However, being slip joints and having a halfway stage, these are pretty much a two hand opening knife.
The Spydy hole is small, and not very conducive to thumb opening, at least for me. The hole is a 3/16"! So, I decided to try a thumb stud.
Here are two that I have used., but the larger .250 length head is my favorite, and have it on the orange Club Member knife (002, anyone know who that is? I got it from ebay).
    Here. Here.
There are several more, just make sure you get the .185 step. I believe the .1875 step would work, just be a little tight and need to be tapped in. But the .185 is an exact fit.
The problem is, the step may be a little longer than the blade width. No biggie. Just use a file and swipe off about 1/32" from each side. Then it will fit tight. I am using BLUE Loc-Tite, and have yet to have one come loose. I used small leather strips between the pliers and the thumb studs to tighten. Now, these are true one hand openers and much more versatile, in my opinion.
The Carbon Fiber one has a red G-10 liner, and the Zombie green one has a black G-10 liner. These are project knives. The green one has a messed up cut for the clip, but it works. It also has a bit of up/down play, but it's a slip it. I am ordering another thumb stud for it, maybe try the .270 head, this time. The CF one has no clip.

Sorry for the lousy pics, middle of the night and just a lamp for lighting. And these are users and not cleaned up.

Hey w3ntz, maybe my X-ray vision isn't working properly, but I'm having a hard time seeing the glow in the dark backspacer. I do see a corner of it.

The scale looks awesome and the Titanium Framelock makes that an expensive piece!

Easily one of the best looking Militaries I've seen. Did you blade swap into a Ti Military and then change on the top scale to Micarta?

    Beautiful. Really nice.

My EDC for a while. Stretch with carbon fiber handle, Chaparral 2, Dragonfly 2 with kirinite MOP handle, Manbug with bolster/red bone handle. Super blue/420J1 blades on all three (except Chaparral).

    Syncharmony,
That's pretty much what happened, but I only put the integral lock side onto my cruwear and recently swapped out the g10 scale.

    Polyhexamethyl,
Its a seiko srp453 le (baby tuna). I have replaced the factory rubber shroud and bracelet with yobokies stainless. pic1.jpg pic2.jpg

    Donut,
    Thanks, and no problem.
