After carrying my Tenacious for a few months, I decided to make some changes.

I haven't been able to enjoy the mod yet since the blade was way off-center when I got everything put back together so I tightened it up quite a bit hoping I could back it off and things would straighten up. Unfortunately, I stripped the pivot screw. Got a new pivot screw and a few handle screws from Spyderco just haven't had a chance to get the stripped one out.

That is too cool Dillon !
Question, Did you disassemble the knife and clamp the scales to the liners when you drilled the G10 ?
Would you mind posting a quick description of the process to do this ?
    Just cool stuff !

I took the knife apart and used the screws from the knife to bolt a scale to a liner. I measured the holes in the liners with calipers and bolted the assembly in the vise of the drill press. Then all I had to do was let the drill bits follow the holes in the steel liners. I think there were a total of four different drill sizes. For the bigger holes, I drilled using one of the smaller bits first.

I used a 1" drill bit to chamfer the holes and cleaned them up a bit with an old piece of sand paper I found laying around.

I posted the pictures over at BladeForums as well so that may be where you saw it.

I think the frames on all the Tenacious family of knives are skeletonized.

Nice work indeed, guys! GH, you are an artist I can appreciate - I know I've said it before, but I really like your style. Are those wires riveted to the other side of the scale?

    - best wishes, Jazz.

    Thank's a bunch Jazz ,)
The wire is simply bent first and holes drilled using each individual piece as a marking guide, then I mixed a batch of Epox, carefully dipped the ends, and set each of the 'stitches' into to holes .
I removed the scales and set them on waxed paper before doing this to prevent any more screw ups that I'd already done |8
    I'm looking into another addition to this mod as well as designing the perfect lanyard (^;

Yeah it's a really nice mod made by ben cardoso.
He said that was really hard to do because there is a "machining" for the liner.

CPMD2 Military with digital camo handles and an edge bevel around 6 degrees per side I think. Also built up a patina over the time it's been EDC'd.

Yeah, I bet that is a nice slicer! What sort of tasks do you do with it and how does it hold up on D2?
    Thanks,

That's my EDC so it gets used for a little bit of everything. I do a lot of food prep with it which it's great at. I also use it for carving wood, slicing cardboard, taking the flashing off disc golf discs, cutting rope and even some trail maintenance when I'm out on the disc golf course and don't have something more suitable with me.

The only time the edge took damage was when my girlfriend accidentally bumped some glass with it, some spots of the edge got flattened and dulled some but it sharpened right out. It's been working well for me, but it isn't a knife you'd want to accidentally cut into a staple with when you're taking down a cardboard box.
