Folding Kujang? Spyderco or Custom Makers Insight Please :)

I know there are quite a few hawkbill fans here. I know guys like Ed Schempp has a flair for modernizing cool ethnic design.

With knives like the Persian, Karambit, Kris, Barong, Khukuri one would think this would be an interesting design and not too far from the process. I like the massive recurve and nice point.

The lower section where it curves near the handle could even be sharpened for different cutting angles...or even left dull and jimped for a choked-up grip. I believe on the traditional fixed versions it's for trapping.

I honestly don't know how it would work out regarding handle shape and closing while guarding the entire blade. Hell, a fixed version might be fun too.

    Just throwing it out.

It seems to be even more surrounded with myths and political and religious influence then the Kris.
