old school whittling knife i'v made

this is my last weekend project, it's based on a knife i saw on ebay, and instead of buying it i'v made it
horn handle, copper pins and a file blade.

    thanks for looking.

    Hi lerman,
I didn't see you for ages. Very nice job on the knife. Handle is gorgeous. What steel did you use for blade? Did you h/t yourself?

Lerman, I really like that. It has a really comfortable look to it. I have a few different knives made out of files and it's one of my favorite type tool steels. They get a nice bite to them, and take and hold edges well.

Excellent work. The copper pins really look good with the horn BTW. Joe
