    Favorite TV series...

    Name says it all...

I have had more pleasure out of tv series than from movies for the last 2 years (beside few: The Hurt Locker, 500 days of Summer,...)

So, about the series, mines are (no order):

    1- Six feet under... for being the first to show a significant story about a deficient family (althought it should have been 3 seasons instead of 6);

2- Weeds... Just because it is breaking every taboos in such a funny way...

3- Breaking bad.... It is making being bad something that can be honorable... Althought it can't never be... Good acting,

4- Best of all: MAD MEN...... Just because you can relate to anyone in it... Or relate anyone you know to any character.... Because it's so right... And wrong at the same time...

I also should add DEXTER.... But my GF was disgusted by the 5th season finally.... (The blood bath...)

    SOOoo.. What are yours...

Why do people worry more if you argue with your voices than if you just talk with them? What about if you lose those arguements?
Slowly going crazy at work... they found a way to make the voices work too.

I watched Dexter up to season 5, but I don't know if I like it anymore. Most of these are older British shows, and I don't know if all of them count as actual 'series' but here's my list:

    -Are you being served?
    -My Family
    -Top Gear
    -Mythbusters
    -Daria
-The Good Life (the 1970s British one)
    -Red Green Show

I also watched Dexter up to season 5, but I'm not sure that I like it anymore...

I'm not really up to date on current TV shows because I don't actually own a TV.

    Well, I miss Charm School.

I used to really like Monster Garage, and Monster House.

Really, I just watch what is on, and I stay away from cable news shows.

The Myth Busters are fun because the have guns, and blow things up!

I know...It is dumb, please go easy on me.

The Monster shows did bring back the industrial arts, and I do think it is great for kids to learn how mechanical things work, not just computers.

Firefly! GREAT! Maybe the best series ever!

LIFE - I will never understand why they discontinued this one! (And Charly Crews carried a Spyderco Police)

Now: Some, now and then, but only two where I watch every episode: CHUCK and How I met your mother.

Must agree fully. regarding Six foot under very entertaining show. But being from the Uk I suppose I get to see a lot of TV you guys across the Atlantic never have a chance of veiwing, we make the finest period drama's you could ever see, also our historical programs a second to none, must admit to enjoying the old historical series which run quite a few years back called the American Civil War.

    True Blood
    House
    Hung
    The Mentalist
These are a few of the newer American series I enjoy.

"Dexter" and "Men of a Certain Age" are the only two shows I watch. I guess they are my favorites.

ITS Monty Python's Flying Circus - the only series to make me laugh so hard I actually fell out of bed, twice. One was the Upper Class Twit of the Year.

Rex the Runt - Early claymation from Aardman, the Wallace and Gromit people. The first episode ends in an endless recursion of universe within universe after the three dogs attempt to fix their pet dog's Random Pavarotti Disease.

Band of Brothers - Perhaps the best thing ever on men in combat.

    I've never seen The Wire.

Thought the Firefly movie was better than the series.
Our reason is quite satisfied, in 999 cases out of every 1000 of us, if we can find a few arguments that will do to recite in case our credulity is criticized by someone else. Our faith is faith in someone else's faith, and in the greatest matters this is most the case.

The Office and Scrubs. You gotta love the Office. If you've ever had a job you can probably relate and that's the beautiful thing about it.

Band of Brothers - I second Sequimite's reasoning.

Sons of Anarchy - I think this is one of the most underrated shows on television. The acting is great.

Modern Family - Absolutely hilarious. The writers are spot on and the actors deliver. Great new show.

Oh, have any of you guys heard about the next Band of Brothers? I heard that it was going to follow a Marine company through the Pacific campaign. Supposedly, they've starting filming a while ago and I haven't heard anything since.

Eureka and Warehouse 13 are my must see shows. The Amazing Race is fun to watch, especially the two cowboys from Oklahoma this season. Mythbusters is usually good for a laugh, and I want to see Captain Phil's last season of Deadliest Catch.
I don't believe in safe queens, only in pre-need replacements.
