    Leafstorm request

I like the looks of this knife but I can't get a decent idea of it's size from the pictures I've seen.

Can any of you guys post a picture of the Leafstorm with another Spydie for comparison? Maybe a Delica 4 or something like that.

    Thanks!

Sorry for poor photo, can't remember how to turn flash off. At any rate, here is Leafstorm with UKPK which has same blade length as delica.

Heres another for some added perspective - sorry camera phone pic.
    Caly 3 CF
    Leafstorm
    Cat
    Meerkat

I was surprised to see that Leafstorm was almost exactly same length as Cat - actually other way around since I just got the Cat.

The Leaf Storm natural G10 handles remind me of the old Micronauts with glow in the dark brains.

I ordered the Leaf Storm, returned it and now I'm ordering it again. There isn't a better framelock under 2.5".

Pneumothorax, that is a nice group of knives. Even though you've just got the Cat, which one would you lean towards for EDC?
The Leafstorm does look great, handle kind of reminds me of skateboard wheels or as FIMS says glow in the dark rubber/material. So many cool knives, decisions, decisions!

Good pic! How about a closed pic of the clip sides just like that one PTX?

Just Got my leafstorm. It has unseated the Urban as my favorite office knife. It does require you to hold it a bit different if you're used to finger choils. I put my index and middle in the cutout and ring finger in the end.

It's got a lot of cutting power for the small blade. I'll post an in hand pic comparison and a closed comparison with my urban and cricket a bit later tonight.

    Cool As Promised, Additional Pics

Closed with Urban, Cricket and Bob T

In Hand (in this grip, one slip and it could be an "OUCH!" moment)

In Hand (better grip). Surprisingly good leverage in this grip, in my opinion.

Great question - for ergos and natural fit in hand, the Cat is nicer. Its got the choil and like most Spydies, just fits in your hand. The Leafstorm isnt as nice ergonomically, but it works - like all other knives that are not Spyderco. On quality of build, however, the Leafstorm is head and shoulders above the Cat. And that is why it costs 3-4x more. I personally LOVE the look and feel of the Leafstorm. Part of what I do sometimes is just take my knives out and look at them, open/close, etc. The Leafstorm is much nicer to do this with. As I posted in another thread, the Cat out of the box quality is not that great - but thats the sacrifice for great materials and low price. So if I had to pick EDC, I would favor the Leafstorm - its just a better quality knife.
