my first sheath and my first thread!

I was looking for a saturday night project to have some fun with, few beers, canadiens game, like i said, saturday night!

so i picked up some leather last week, figured id make a sheath for my new go-to knife! orange moran. i think it turned out great, it fits super snug! i used artificial sinew from a craft store, and punched the holes with a little awl. i didnt follow any instructions or anything, just played it by ear, so take it easy on me! i would of liked the belt loop to be wider, but i cut my first piece a little too short, so i used what i had.

i made a small cover for my little fiskars hatchet too on sunday for backpack use, it came with a foolish plastic clip on cover that was useless for anything other that hanging it on a wall.
