the latest knife i'v made-lots of pics

this is the first knife i'v made in my new (first) workshop, i'v started a long time ago, working only on weekends (i have a full time job at a furniture factory).

i'v learnd allot from this project, things didn't go as planned as some of you have seen in my latest post, but i'm super pleased with the end result.

01 tool steel 4mm hand rubbed blade.
    orange paduk scales.
    stainless pins.

blood sweat and tears, hand rubbing is a PITA

the original design was supposed to have bolsters, but i decided to go all wood on this one, for several reasons.

Is that the same knife you started out with in the first pics? Very nicely redone! Still looks great - very nice work and design! Keep it up, and thanks for sharing.

    - best wishes, Jazz.

i used a drill bit for metal from a quality set i have, nothing super special, if you drill the knife before the heat treating you don't have a problem.
for the quenching i used motor oil, the older the better.
there was no specific perpous in mind, a small utility fixed blade.

    Well done Lerman, good going.
In all honesty, I like this bladeshape better than the original one.
It turned out real nice and it is hard to believe this is your first knife.
I hope you are going to make more.
