    Free Meadowlark? THIS IS SPARTA!

hello everyone! after posting up "What Spydie should i get" i got lots of reccomendations, and that narrowed it down a lot to the pacific salt, the tenacious, and a few others, but one user was kind enough, generous enough, and just plain awesome enough to send me a Byrd Meadowlark. For free.

Scott, ("Firebat" on the forums) was kind enough to send me a free meadowlark. No strings attached. He even priority shipped it! I want to thank you so much scott! I will be posting pics and giving a full on review of it on my youtube channel.

I will be posting more knife videos and Etc. Later, but i will give a full on review in a few days. I love the handles, which i think have FRN scales, and the thumb ramp and finger ramp on the blade have gimping, which i like very much. Scott, i cannot thank you enough!

Cool, glad to hear it arrived safely.

I'll definitely check out your impressions. As I said, it may not be exactly what you're looking for ultimately, but should give you a better basis from which to determine what you do and do not like.

In terms of features, the Byrd line does offer quite a bit and that Meadowlark is a good example of this. I think they're a great place to start for someone who is new to knives and/or is on a budget but still appreciates good build quality and value.

    Enjoy!
