I've used fine (1500) sandpaper to sand it following the grind line, but if it's deep enough to catch fingernail then it won't work.
I use the green 3M Scotchbrite pads and they work really well on light scratches like from rubbing against keys and such. I learned that at the SFO from Gail.

ChapmanPreferred,I found some of those pads at walmart,and when i got home i started using it and it took the scratches right off,it totally restored the knife to almost factory condition.Thank you for that great advice.![]()
Why would you want to remove the scratches? They are what makes an SS knife pretty.
