Albo Kali Silat Seminars

For those of you interested (and who can get to Ohio for the events) I have a couple of Albo Kali Silat seminars scheduled:

Two Albo Kali Silat seminars will be conducted in Ohio. The first seminar is an introduction to Albo Kali Silat concepts, techniques, and methodology. It is scheduled for April 11, 2009, in Warren, Ohio.

The second seminar is a law enforcement only seminar. Officers should bring their duty gear, and training will be conducted while wearing duty belt, body armor, etc., as well as in workout attire. Empty hand work against firearms and the blade will be stressed, as well as basic self-defensive use of the blade. This seminar is scheduled for May 9, 2009, in Warren, Ohio.

Keep an eye on my website. I don't do many seminars, as my full-time federal law enforcement job keeps me very busy. When I do one, it is generally because I have been hit with several requests for a seminar. I usually have a few spots open after the "requesting people" are registered. For example, the law enforcement seminar listed came about because a local police chief requested some training for his officers, starting with the personnel who are defensive tactics instructors for his department.

Every now and again, a fellow law enforcement officer or martial arts friend will request that I do a seminar out of state. I have a hard time making these work, due to my work load, having to take vacation to do the seminar, having to work around the normal, regular classes that I teach in Albo Kali Silat, etc.
