    couple of sneaky questions.

just purchased a ken brock knife ;what does everybody think of his work?..also how do you get scratch marks out of a 154cm satin rubbed blade?and would you go with a hard stone on it to sharpen? also what night vision would you recommend for field use and would you go with a photon wide spread illuminator as a back up(currently got a covert blacklight on order) and another.....got the merc harness but having trouble with it on larger blades any ideas for a better fit?

--- Good Centrist Work of a Modern Design.

also how do you get scratch marks out of a 154cm satin rubbed blade?

--- Polish the Blade with successive abrasives of a finer grit than the previous grit, removing all marks of the previous grit, until the scratches are gone. Alternately, live with them, because if you actually use the knife, you will probably give it even more scratches.

and would you go with a hard stone on it to sharpen?

--- I think you should use an abrasive and system that you are familiar with. If you are not familiar with a system or abrasive, I would suggest the Spyderco Sharpmaker, a fine product. Alternately, you could send it back to the maker from time to time for sharpening, most makers offer this service. Also, the maker be willing to 're-condition' or 'touch up' your knife to remove the scratches you named previously. Contact him.

also what night vision would you recommend for field use and would you go with a photon wide spread illuminator as a back up(currently got a covert blacklight on order)

--- Not a ninja, so I don't need night vision, not a rich man, so I don't have any that I play with. But, a google search using the phrase "night vision forum" will yield a number of places to ask that very question.

got the merc harness but having trouble with it on larger blades any ideas for a better fit?

--- I have carried a CRKT Hissatsu with mine, and I guess I would consider that at least 'medium' in size.... What sort of problems are you having with it?
