I have no desire to own any kind of Kerambit, but I'm liking that blade shape. Very untraditional with the hawkbill/wharnie combo. Hmmm...

I want one! Chad has a knack for designing knives that make me think that.

I'm not a big K-bit fan, but after seeing Chad's interpretation of it I might just change my mind. That's one of the best looking ones that I have ever seen. Nice work!

Ive owned an Emerson Super Karambit and hated it, but this looks intriguing. Take off the KBIT ring and Id buy one.

I just have no need for a k-bit. Though I have to agree w/ this statement, "I want one! Chad has a knack for designing knives that make me think that."

If I may be a little blunt (and believe me I am a loyal fanatic), I think they dropped the ball on not acquiring more of CLB's designs. It would have been awesome of many of his work were 's.

In fairness to both Spyderco and Chad (and I'm both a loyal fan and consider Chad to be a close friend), I think some of his designs are just not compatible with the round hole opener. Your photoshopped SUBCOM rather proves that. The hole is almost half occluded, even for right handed users. Adding a hump to accomodate the opener might work on some, but not all. At the very least it would change the "look and feel" considerably, and not always in a good way. I think, for example, that one of the attractions of the Subcom is that it can be clipped in plain sight since it looks for all the world like some type of "personal electronic device". Adding a hump would destroy that illusion.

His collaborating with both companies has advantages for all three parties.

Where can they be bought, how much are they, and way to go Mr. CLB.

I had trouble finding them anywhere.

Definitely interesting. Chads designs are branching out a bit. Does it have a pocket clip as well as the Biner/hole clip?

    Funky

Looks weird... I love and train with Kerambit. I like the Spyderco version a lot, but tend to stick to the custom Strider one, or if i'm in a mood for a folding one, i'll usually grab my Emerson Super Kerambit.

I'm cool with all other Chad's designs though.
