    S-Biner

I came across these completely by accident the other day. I've never seen them before or even seen them mentioned on here (at least not as far as my memory serves me). I remember there was a post a while back about someone who was looking for alternative key rings and these could definitely fit the bill. I imagine you could find quite a few other uses for them as well. For those who are interested...

They are pretty neat. I keep a couple in my bag as "just in case" pieces.

I just bought a couple of these last weekend. Saw the Tadgear webpage. Was at REI and they had them. I replaced my biner on my key ring with one. They are pretty cool. I got the size 2 and 3. Use the 3 on my key ring.

They look cool, might have to try a couple. FWIW, think they should probably be called S'wichards or some variant of that, since the snaps resemble Wichard snaps more than carabiners.

These things are pretty handy, and they are available in several sizes and colors.

And here's a pic with a playing card for scale:

I've seen these over at BassPro. They are of very good quality.

I believe Wal-Mart carries the plain satin finished models in the hardware dept.
