Looking good!! Two questions though, What happened to the Spydie hole in the blade? And Where did you get that sheath?

Hahaha yup thanks for selling it to me!
It's gone in my left front pocket the past few days although I need to pick up some more para-cord to make a lanyard for it. It's replaced my other LBK's like the Jester and Ladybug which used to have a duopoly on that pocket. I need more small knives it seems :P

Spyderco started putting holes in their fixed blades just some years ago.
The Moran is a special edition from the 90s, but all Morans from that era came with this sheath.

Yeah, I just got the Harrier, but it was used before I got it.
I think they were made in 2005-2006, but not sure.
Kinda heavy edc, at least for me, but, a nice history of Byrd piece.

Why yes, that comes in pink.

Second Spyderco I've gifted, wish I was keeping, lol. Fit and finish, especially where the lockbar and the blade meet, is nicer than my ZDP D'fly.

Well, I guess it's officially started (the doom). Second one in two weeks now and I'm taking a break for a bit, but I thought I'd post the latest arrival to the stable. The plain-vanilla Centofante III arrived in today's mail, beauty, function, engineering and precision all rolled into one nice neat little package. The only thing I did was change the clip to the other end. Had to go out and buy a #7 torx driver, but used blue loc-tite so it is done now. Here are a couple of new pictures from the garden. The setting is an old locomotive bell base, which was our "dinner bell" when I was growing up. If we couldn't hear it, we were too far from home and were in trouble.

And finally, I really enjoy the lines on this blade, a beautifully elegant execution of the VG10 steel, thanks Sal for the form & function.

    Thanks for looking. tim

The spring is perfect for me. It's a solid 6-6.5. This is my first GEC and from what I've read on BF, the springs were all nail breakers when GEC first started producing but now I think GEC finally figured it out with these.

**If you're looking for a slipjoint to carry with your Spydie, this would be my top suggestion. It's right at 3 1/2" and will fit in the watch pocket of my jeans and some shorts. It may look bigger in my hands but I think the camera is at a funny angle cause when I hold it closer towards my palm it disappears completely when I make a fist. It's not too expensive either so you'll have enough $$$ for a new Spydie .
