The G10 scales on some of my users have smoothed out a little, is there any way to restore the more coarse finish that they have out of the box?

the G10 texture smoothens with time no doubt, but it's also filled with dirt, dead skin etc. washing it with waper, soap and a nail brush helps a little but it will never get as rough as it was out of the box.
i get the feeling that CF last longer over time.

Don't use fine sand paper!
my civvie's left side is now noticeably smoother because of that mental lapse.
