Here is pic of my Tigerstripe G10 Woodcraft Mule in the aftermath of cleaning some eastern Sierra trout this weekend. It worked well, but the blade shape is not optimal for cleaning fish - need a tip with more point. Regular mule would work better. But it was fun nonetheless. [sorry for crappy bb pic].

    Still miss a few...

Here's my latest Mule Project. I took the new M390 Mule and shod it with burgundy micarta scales. All the work was done with hand tools, except for the drilling and some of the final buffing.

    Cheers!

Finally got around to finishing my 9Cr18Mo Mule with bocote scales. Hand sanded the wood to 600 grit and then put on a coat of shellac, sanded at 400, 600, and then 1500 grit, hit a couple spots I sanded too much with another thin coat of shellac, and then finished out at 1500 grit.

Not a mule, but hopefully worth showing. The S30V woodcraft.
Probably I was the lucky one to get one of last ones available at Woodcraft.com. They are gone now....

I modified the spine of the blade and added a swedge. I mounted G10 peelply coarse textured earthbrown G10 and contoured the slabs. The slabs are only screwed. I added a lanyard hole without a tube.

The pouch is made of leather with a liner that follows the blade. The blade is stuck without play in it, like an italian handmade leather glove Handstiched of course. The leather was pretty thick, made of the last pieces I had left. However I ordered some cows this afternoon. The adds a little authenticity

BTW: CD from OZ, very cool clean made mule you show us. What material did you use, canvas micarta? Where did you get that? Kudos mate!

    Cheers & enjoy,
    Tomas
